CITY
MEETINGS...
Eustace
City Council meets the
First Thursday of each month at
7:00 p.m. in the City Hall building.
Agenda:
February 02,
2012
|
|
In the year of
1900 our city was named for Captain W.T. Eustace, a
well-dressed, trim-bearded man of slight stature. He was
a popular Confederate Civil War veteran from Virginia that
settled in Athens in 1867. Although he never actually
lived in Eustace the citizens were so impressed by his actions
they honored him by naming their town Eustace. |
